Day-to-day decision making as a physician in India.

چکیده
Moral perceptions and judgments are based on a society's values. Professional ethics generally complement social codes and reinforce moral perceptions. In the area of health care, the doctor-patient relationship is inherently unequal, placing added responsibilities on those providing care. In countries like India where practice protocols and referral pyramids are not defined and where patient awareness is rudimentary, the obligations on a physician increase manifold. This is further complicated by a healthcare system that includes both sophisticated, multi-specialty corporate hospitals providing excellent care for a premium to chaotic, under-staffed and under-equipped government services that do not have the will and resources to provide adequate healthcare.

Optimizing Red Blood Cells Consumption Using Markov Decision Process
In healthcare systems, one of the important actions is related to perishable products such as red blood cells (RBCs) units that its consumption management in different periods can contribute greatly to the optimality of the system. In this paper, main goal is to enhance the ability of medical community to organize the RBCs units’ consumption in way to deliver the unit order timely with a focus ...
متن کاملImprovement of Methanol Synthesis Process by using a Novel Sorption-Enhanced Fluidized-bed Reactor, Part II: Multiobjective Optimization and Decision-making Method
In the first part (Part I) of this study, a novel fluidized bed reactor was modeled mathematically for methanol synthesis in the presence of in-situ water adsorbent named Sorption Enhanced Fluidized-bed Reactor (SE-FMR) is modeled, mathematically. Here, the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II (NSGA-II) is applied for multi-objective optimization of this configuration. Inlet temperature o...
متن کاملA simple approach to multiple attribute decision making using loss functions
Multiple attribute decision making (MADM) methods are very much essential in all fields of engineering, management and other areas where limited alternatives exist and the decision maker has to select the best alternative. Different methods are available in the literature to tackle the MADM problems. The MADM problems are classified as scoring methods, compromising methods and concordance metho...
